Terms of use
Scope and consent: These terms of use govern all use of our services. By accessing our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. The current version is always authoritative. If you continue to use our services after a change, this constitutes your consent to the amended version.
Please read the terms and conditions carefully. It is important that you understand them correctly in order to use our services. If you have any questions, please contact us at mrt@talk2friedrich.at or by phone at +43 66 44 77 68 68.

1.1. No emergencies – Our services are not suitable for emergency situations.
1.2. Minimum age – You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
1.3. No therapy – We do not offer medical treatments. Our services are for informational purposes only.
1.4. No medical examination – Our information does not replace the findings or recommendations of your treating physicians. We do not perform clinical examinations or take medical histories.
1.5. No doctor-patient relationship – Our services are not considered diagnosis, treatment, or care and do not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Responsibility for your medical treatment lies with your treating physician at all times.
1.6. Use in one’s own name or on behalf of others – Users may be patients themselves or acting on behalf of another person. In both cases, the terms and conditions apply equally to users and patients.
1.7. Our services:
1.7.1. Video consultation with Dr. Friedrich: Dr. Friedrich will explain what can be seen on your radiological images in simple terms. The consultation will take place online using Zoom Communications, Inc. software. Data protection: Your images will be displayed anonymously. We use Zoom’s end-to-end encryption so that the content cannot be viewed by third parties. Please note that you must also enable end-to-end encryption in your Zoom settings. Note: We cannot accept any liability for data security with Zoom. By using our services, you agree that the digital transmission of your image data is your own responsibility.
1.7.2. Video consultation with written summary: In addition to the video consultation, you can receive a written statement. A maximum of one preliminary examination will be considered per appointment. An additional appointment is required for comparison with further preliminary examinations. The same data protection and communication conditions apply to this service as to the video consultation.
1.7.3. Costs: A total price including all fees, charges, and taxes will be charged for the services listed.
1.7.4. Legal basis: Austrian law applies to contracts for written services (see section 1.7.2.), unless other mandatory provisions apply.
1.7.5. Decision-making authority: If the quality or completeness of the information submitted is insufficient, Dr. Friedrich may decide at his own discretion whether or not a final assessment is possible.
1.7.6. Image data currency: Only medical images that are no older than 12 months may be uploaded. Older data will only be accepted in combination with new images for comparison purposes.
1.7.7. No changes after booking: Once the order has been completed, no changes or additions (e.g., additional documents or questions) are possible.
1.7.8. Scope of communication: All communication with Dr. Friedrich—both written and verbal—relates exclusively to the description of the image data submitted. No therapy suggestions or treatment recommendations are given.
1.7.9. Limitations of telemedical assessment: An online assessment is no substitute for a personal medical examination. Certain information can only be obtained through a physical examination and is therefore not available to Dr. Friedrich. For this reason, assessments may be limited or preliminary. By using the services, you agree that: a) the information is limited in nature, b) the written opinion does not replace medical treatment or examination, c) Dr. Friedrich does not have access to information that can only be obtained through a personal examination, d) this limitation may affect the validity of his assessment. We therefore strongly recommend that you discuss the results with your treating physician.
1.7.10. Technical requirements for image data: Only images in DICOM format (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) will be accepted. The images must be available as a complete sequence, be of sufficient quality, and show the relevant area of the body. If the data submitted is not suitable, you will be asked to resubmit suitable images.
